Physicus, a Myst-like puzzle adventure with an emphasis on physical science, has graphics that mix futuristic technology with objects seemingly made in the pre-digital age. This complex game contains interconnected inventory- and knowledge-based puzzles, requiring intense concentration with a bit of luck to complete. Players have access to a virtual laptop, which provides extensive information on the topics of optics, mechanics, acoustics, and the science of electricity and heat.<br><br>A giant meteorite has struck a planet, presumably Earth, and caused rotation to cease. As a result, half the planet is freezing over in eternal darkness while the other half is boiling over in the endless, blistering sunlight. Scientists build a gigantic energy machine intended to cause a power surge to start the planet turning again, but the first attempt to start the device fails. Now it's your turn to finish the job by repairing three non-functioning generators and linking them together to power the impulse machine.
