    This product on it's death bed.

    I would have no problem buying from this seller again. The product worked exactly as the seller advertised. HOWEVER due to Microsoft's refusal to provide any further support for Windows XP this version is very limited in how it can be used. I have been unable to find a way to update the security certificate checking capability thereby rendering IE useless if trying to access any "https:" site. Google Chrome for this version does a good job of navigating the internet but pops up a banner to inform the user that Google support has also expired. Some sites I use do refuse connection to XP machines.

    Interesting if you like a challenge.

    Even though I love XP, I use the 32 bit version a lot, it's a pain to find programs that actually work with XP Pro x64. You have to find programs from sites that have older programs for download to run on XP x64. Other drivers have to be sought out such as sound, ethernet and of course a browser as Internet Explorer is useless any more. Haven't tried out installing my photo programs yet. Interesting to work with an older OS though.

    Great upgrade for an older desktop

    This is a great upgrade for an older 64 bit capable desktop that has always ran Windows XP 32 bit. I can not believe how much smoother and faster XP runs. Games and other programs run much smoother as well.

    For a separate PC for old XP games.

    I have a Dell Optiplex 760. I started with a new 2 TB Barracuda. The motherboard and chip set were compatible. I did not have to download anything. I have a lot of software and games from 2002-2007. I use the Optiplex for that. I will Never go online with it.
