Love it! My first time using a DSLR but this is quite easy to use. I had to watch a couple of tutorials first to understand the settings but once I did, it was easy to use. Since it is a beginners camera, it needs quite a bit of light to produce good quality pictures. You can't raise the ISO too high or it starts to look grainy. Bit of a drawback in winter because of limited sun light. There's no way of seeing the storage left on your memory card so you'll need a memory card reader to plug into your computer to read it. You can use the Nikon Snapbridge app to send pictures to your phone but if you want to keep your pictures high quality, I wouldn't recommend this as it takes a really long time. Better off using the memory card reader to transfer your pictures to a computer to edit. Overall, I recommend this camera for anyone new to photography and isn't ready to spend lots of money on a more advanced DSLR.Read full review

Has found it really easy to use with good quality pictures and video. Carries it with him virtually all the time. Excellent pictures and good in low light.

Great camera, sit down and read how to really use it don't just stick it in auto, it takes the fun out of it. Next the 18-55mm lense is good to get started and I've had some great shots with it but it doesn't do the camera itself justice. I brought a prime nikkon 35mm and the difference is immense, the sharpness and clarity is so much better, certainly recommend the 35mm 1.8G lense for the next addition to your kit. Added a couple of test shots using the 35mm lense.
