I am very happy with this keyboard. The one that I got looks even better than the one in the picture. You can barely tell it’s used/refurbished. It’s easy to set up (just plug it into your computer) and it works absolutely perfectly. A great value for the price. It even arrived two days earlier than it said it would, which is a plus. I’m very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it!

The older keyboard design is bad and the left enter key has problems. And the right side enter key is too small and in a bad position.

The used apple keyboard is in like-new condition, and really did look like it came directly from Apple aside from not having the stock box. I love how solid the apple keyboards are. The keys are in stock non-dirty condition and the aluminum body is without any marks on mine. The keys type like new and stock. I guess I'm lucky, but either way it's in great shape.

The Apple Aluminum keyboard is much smaller and lighter than the previous Apple Standard & Pro model "plastic" keyboards. It's thinner design and smaller footprint make it good alternative for those (like me) that move from desktop (or laptop) to desktop and prefer to use my own keyboard and mouse (sometimes, you don't know where the existing set has gone through). The low profile means you don't have to reach over the spacebar (like if you have small hands). The keys are very sensitive, no punching or pounding needed, but you get a lot of typos until you get used to it. The keys rise up through the baseboard, so you can find those "crumbs" from lunch easily, BUT if you spill something on it, you might be in trouble. Overall, good for the possessive types that have smaller hands (and have good finger skills), but you have to keep it away from the Snacks and Drinks that always seem to show up around 2 to 4 pm.Read full review
The keyboard has a very low profile on the desk and therefore is very easy on your wrists, even if your wrists have bad typing posture. The keys themselves have a decent amount of spring behind them and each make a satisfying, soft click sound so you know you when you mistype. The keys are smooth and therefore your thumb sometimes seems to just slide over the spacebar rather than make a solid connection with it but that could just be how I personally type (I've never had this problem with any other keyboard). The keys like home, end, page up, page down, etc. don't often move much so you second-guess whether they fully compressed. WARNING: If the keyboard ever sustains surface damage (objects even mildly hefty falling on them) the aluminum surface easily detaches from the plastic and rises so it is flush with the keys, making typing very difficult. You'll have to glue it down as there are no obvious screws or clips to reattach near the edges. All-in-all a good purchase if you can get it for a good price. I wouldn't ever pay what Apple charges for this keyboard. Suggested reasonable cost to you for this keyboard: $35 - $40Read full review
I bought this for my office computer (PC) because my IT department supplied me with one of those abomination keyboards with the crazy thick keys that made the loud tapping noise as I typed...basically cheap/standard PC garbage. I literally just plugged this into the USB port of my crap PC and it was just like using my iMac at home. HIGHLY recommend.....especially if you're issued rubbish PC junk at work.

Apple always makes an outstanding product. Compared to my old Apple keyboard this one is far superior. Incredible touch combined with great looks.... so thin and lightweight, I take it to use with my laptop. After experiencing this keyboard I can't imagine using anything else. Not sure how Apple can improve this one.

The keyboard is much more enjoyable to use than my previous Apple Pro Keyboard. I chose this keyboard because I need the numeric keypad in my daily work and the wireless model simply doesn't have that option. There are, however, a couple gotchas for people who are used to the older keyboards. There is now an fn key, but not where it is on the wireless or laptop keyboards. Instead it takes the place of the (rarely if ever used) help key. This is important because, like a laptop keyboard, this keyboard hijacks your function keys by default, requiring you to press fn-function to get your old functions or to get the labelled functions if you have fixed it in the Keyboard Preferences pane. Volume control used to be above the 10-key pad, now those functions are on f10-f12, brightness used to be f14 and f15, now f1 and f2. These wired changes are also different than the default preferences for expose and dashboard, placing them at f3 and f4 respectively. Once you reconfigure the keyboard to require fn for the labelled functions, it functions mostly like the older model with a more pleasant keying experience.Read full review
I bought this same exact model maybe 7 years ago and when it failed, I bought a similar one on Amazon, but it was NOT an Apple product. I did not like the feel of it and after several months, the SHIFT KEY would not actuate unless I applied much more pressure. That's when I tried to find the original model on eBay and I purchased it. It feels just like my first one and I am in love with it.

It’s not quite as much of a looker as Apple’s even older keyboards but man I can type so fast on it. It’s also not so thin as Apple’s latest completely idiotic keyboard that have almost zero feedback. Apple’s new keyboard cause me pain. This older one is perfection.
