This antenna is awesome compared to others I’ve tried. Background first. I have not had cable/satellite in 25 years because I refuse to subsidize channels I don’t watch or want. I'm about 30 miles from the broadcast antenna farm. Before the government forced digital on us I received great analog signals through my roof mount antenna for all over air stations available to Plano, TX. Then it was the horrible signal converter box. Then I switched to a digital TV and digital roof antenna that I had to rotate every time I switched channels only to get fair/poor signals. Hailstorm took out that antenna. Tried various indoor flat antennas and even rabbit ears. All resulted in poor signals that fluctuated with the wind and rain storms. Decided to go back to roof mount and found this Channel Master CM3011HD. Tested it first by mounting it on a makeshift pole in my living room to get it as high as possible to the ceiling. I was amazed that with the antenna indoors only eight feet high, I received all but one available station with 80-100% reception quality. Will be getting it mounted to the roof ASAP where I imagine I’ll get perfect reception with 30’ height.Read full review

I live about 28 miles from a large city with several tv stations. I bought this antenna in the hope it would allow me to receive three stations. Sadly, it did not work very well. It would receive and then lose the signals every few minutes. When I bought and installed a directional antenna, that resolved the problem.

I live in a remote area of NEPA with many trees and mountains blocking my view of the southern sky. I installed this Channel Master Omni+ 50 Mile hoping that I could get a better signal to the 5 tv's connected. I figured that I would need some type of amp to get the strongest signal to all of them. WRONG! NO AMP WAS INSTALLED!! After installation, the mass is about 1 foot above the peak of my roof line. The trees are in full bloom and completely blocking the southern sky. I scanned each tv and to my surprise, All stations (16) with in a 30 mile radius are crystal clear with a minimum of 5 bars on the signal meter. Even during heavy rains the picture is very stable without any pixelation or loss of signal. I love this antenna and highly recommend it for anyone that has the same type of surroundings with broadcast towers within the 50 mile radius .Read full review
