    Very good single serve coffee maker.

    I like my fresh ground dark coffee. Tried the coffee presses - too messy. Perking great for camping, but hard to get a single serving. Expresso - fair amount of fiddling around for Americano. This Proctor-Silex has small foot print. Takes the cups or grounds equally as easy. Ground knock out and rinse the holder out, good to go. Holds enough water for a 14 oz. cup. Easy fill, fairly fast coffee into cup. I like it and would buy again or give as a gift.

    KCup not recommended

    Ok for brewing ground coffee but not so good for the kcups. When using Kcups I almost always have excess grounds in the cup. Also, it makes ungodly noises, sputtering and farting, and often leaks out the sides in places that it shouldn't. It sounds and acts like it should be brewing in the bathroom rather than the kitchen. ;) I had a guest the other day and he actually thought it was me making all that noise in the kitchen and asked from the other room if I was alright. Embarrassing! I liked the idea of having a choice of brewing fresh ground coffee or using a Kcup but I think I will go back to the Keurig.

    Good coffee

    I use my single serve coffe pot every day. I was hesitant because it said open box, but it works great. it brews quickly and is easy to clean. I even bought one for my 75 year old mother, and she has had no problems either.

    Pretty good

    I would say 4.5 stars but it can't be done. Loose coffee filter brews fast but not as strong as my manual one cup drip system, others have complained about this, the fix might be adding a little more coffee. I haven't tried the K cups yet but I'm sure they will brew just fine. Haven't had it long enough to know if this thing is reliable in the long run, but it's so inexpensive that it doesn't matter.
