All in all, everything I need in an A/V receiver that won't break the bank.
I've owned many A/V receivers and this one is right up there with the best of them.. Everything works as it should. With the right speakers and being properly set up, you can't go wrong with this one. Blu-rays sound and look great, as well as DVD's and my PS3 games. Quite frankly, I don't really notice any differences between this receiver and the high priced Onkyo that it replaced.. It just doesn't have all of the bells and whistles that the Onkyo had. I bought this receiver because of its considerably cheaper price as opposed to others with similar features. The ONLY thing I think Sony could've done a better job with is the on screen menu. Especially with the online music services. No album art with Pandora.. Just simple scrolling text.. Oh well, it still ... Great Unit
This is the receiver I've been looking for. It's Great! Made a few years ago so there are more manual features. Sony makes a great product and this unit is extremely impressive on sound, compatibility with the right amount of inputs and outputs. I would recommend this to any audiophile that truly enjoys loud and clear music with impressive surround sound.

Top of the line, big upgrade from the "Boxed surround sound systems".
This is a top of the line receiver, it does everything...it even Auto calibrates itself. It works great with the Sony 3D Blu-Ray system and PS3. Sound quality is very good, but I also have this with the Sony top of the line surround sound speakers. It controls 2 sub woofers for awesome bass and sound coverage. I have it in a 22' X 20' living room, hooked up to the new Mitsubishi 92" Diamond DLP 3D Cinema system.This is a top of the line receiver, it does everything...it even Auto calibrates itself.
