I was able to transfer my cassette tapes onto my MAC but it was really not that easy. Had to go on Youtube to figure it out. Also, the Play button has to be pushed several times to stay down. The answer for "Is it of good quality", I would have to say average.

I read the reviews on the Cassette 2 USB and decided it would work well enough for a handful of cassette tapes I have. Installation and the running process were easy enough, but the quality of the recordings and the overly simplistic controls required an excess amount of time. I spent four hours on one tape and never finished. I never could burn a CD and wasted four of them trying. Sound quality was poor and volume low. I don't feel this is really a terrible product, but may be better suited to transcribing sermons and such rather than music.

I was thrilled receiving this cassette deck convertor. Now i can transfer all my recordings from years back playing drums in band rehearsals, etc. Excellent for musicians wanting save data digitally forever on a USB flash or micro card..couldn't be happier

This is a great product and it really is so easy to use and the software it comes with even helps to get even more effects and makes even your old cassettes sound good. I had some from 1979 and it came out clear as a bell!!! 2 thumbs up

After reading the reviews I was a little skeptical. I have to say it worked great for me and I was able to copy a lot of old cassette tape preaching and singing to my computer. The sound quality is good as well. I just installed the software from the disc and used the usb cord that it came with and from there you just let the tape play and push record. It takes while to get it done but it’s well worth it. You can even set an amount of time for it to cut off recording because if not it will continue to record when the tape has ended. I definitely recommend this if you are look to convert cassettes to your pc and then to your phone, internet website or cds. It does just that.
