    Packaged well for shipment. Condition of HD is very clean and looks like new. Came with adapter cable to allow use in a desktop PC along with an explanation on it's use. Had a bit of trouble getting Windows 10 to recognize it at first, but in the end, it works great. One weird thing was that Windows set it up with a single partition, but two different drive letters with both drive letters having almost the same (but not the same) formatted capacity of 12.5TB each.

    excellent packing, drives are more silent than nas drives, raid5 sync already in progress, all 4 drives has operational hours between 38.4k and 38.8k, pretty low for datacenter drives... hopefully all gonna serve me for long in my asustor nas unit :)

    Bought 4 of these drives to put into a newly built NAS. The shipping was much faster than the automated estimate thankfully! Each driver was wrapped in bubble wrap and securely taped down. Thank you for that! Each drive showed 34-35,000 hours of use. With the 5 year warranty and a 2.5M hour rate I bought these with high confidence. Plus running a raid gives me some extra peace of mind if something does go wrong. Each drive had 12-15 startups on them. 10/10 highly recommend.

    Good drive. Plenty of life despite it being used.

    Well..to be fair...YOU HAVE TO DEACTIVATE the POWER OFF feature because of its Enterprise Server Origins. The pin on the power connector needs to be bypassed...with a 4 PIN adapter instead of the five wire coming from the typical power supply. The live 3.5 volts keeps the drive from POWERING UP.

    have been unable to use since it is part of western didgital update with hard reset option I have tried several "internet "fixes whch have not worked im sure that the drve is wonderful I just didnt do my research to make sure icould use it wth my "legacy " system

    Both drives are now part of an Unraid se...

    Both drives are now part of an Unraid server and have been working without any issue, these drives have had 4+ years of use on them but considering that they are enterprise drives there is quite a bit of life left in them.

    Best Bargain Bang For Your Buck in a High Capacity SATA HD
