The Spider-Man 3 Xbox 360 game sets you up against the Sandman, Green Goblin, and Scorpion in superhero action. Do you prefer to play the amazing Spider-Man in his traditional red and blue suit? Are you a fan of the black symbiotic costume, too? In this Spider-Man video game, you can access both costumes throughout the story. The Microsoft Xbox 360 Spider-Man video game was released in 2007 by Activision and uses the voice talents of Bruce Campbell, Tobey Maguire, and J.K. Simmons (which fans of the movie will appreciate). It is a single player game with an ESRB rating of T for teen, which was assigned due to mild violence, alcohol references, and animated blood. The game plot follows elements of the movie of the same name, mixed with the comic books, previous games from the series, and the Marvel Universe. Spider-Man can expect to see quite a few familiar faces from the comics and movies. At the end of each level, the amazing Spider-Man will face villains like New Goblin, Venom, Sandman, Lizard, and the Mad Bomber, as well as dealing with gangs making trouble for the city. You can unlock bonus content when you fully complete one of the ten storylines, and there are 42 missions in all, plus random events, contextual mini-games, and collectible tokens to keep you busy. Side missions and story missions are kept separate, so you can focus on the story or try out a minor adventure to shake things up. One of the most enjoyable aspects of the game is the random crimes that pop up as you patrol and check different areas of the city patrolled by gangs. The more gang crimes you bust, the more peaceful these zones become, and you receive stat upgrades as well. As Spidey, you'll enjoy roaming the streets of New York City on foot or by web with greater freedom than in previous games from the series. Recurring characters include, of course, Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson. Some of the Marvel characters featured in gameplay are exclusive to the Xbox 360 version. These rare special appearances include Dr. Stillwell, Mr. Chen, Dr. Andrews, Scorpion, and Jeanne De Wolfe as well as brief appearances from characters Rhino and Calypso. Spider-Man 3 lets you interact with a range of characters that are rare to find in the Spider-Man franchise. Spider-Man 3 for the Xbox 360 was the first game that allowed players to enjoy the powers of black-suited Spider-Man for the first time. This new suit gives the amazing Spider-Man incredible powers and combat abilities, but the rising adrenaline and aggression threaten to overwhelm him--and it makes him pretty moody, too. The power-ups you can earn with your suit meter vary based on which suit you're wearing, and after beating the game, you'll have the option of playing it over while wearing the black suit throughout. Save the city and gain a new following. Spider-Man 3 for the Xbox 360 offers access to a range of powers and abilities. With this power, a host of new moves, and classic finishes, you'll be everyone's superhero in this action video game from Activision.
