    Great For Gray Hair

    I have short gray/white hair with a bit of grow-out blond. Both the shampoo and conditioner are a bluish-purple color out of the bottle. I leave the shampoo on my hair for a few minutes, rinse, and then apply the conditioner and leave in until I finish showering. No need for gloves and no staining in the shower. The Shimmer Lights shampoo and conditioner leave my hair color brighter with a lavender hue. The product has an unpleasant odor but not noticeable after rinsing.

    Worst Shampoo & Conditioner I Ever Used

    Wish I could give zero stars. I don't get how there are so many good reviews on this or why the semi-high end salon I go to uses this stuff on me after they do my hilights and lowlights but its horrible. Next time I'll ask them not to use it. I wanted to buy some for home since they use it at the salon and it had lots of good reviews. I'm guessing good reviews came from people with either short hair or very easy to comb through hair. First of all it felt like I was putting purple acrylic paint on my hair. The shampoo gave me hardly any later and I had to use a half a bottle for it to feel like I did an actual shampoo and then the conditioner felt 0% nourishing. Usually any decent conditioner will help me comb my hair out in the shower with a very wide tooth comb but with this stuff I think ...

    Shampoo is wonderful; conditioner, not so much

    I love the shampoo, so I thought I would love the conditioner as well. The conditioner is not creamy and doesn't coat your hair. I normally put conditioner on my hair and then comb through my hair with my fingers. With this conditioner, I couldn't even get my fingers through my hair. I thought if I used a little bit more it would help, but it didn't. Huge waste of money.

    Dried my hair now it like straw

    Have used it three times with the shampoo. It hair is so dry it looks like straw. I have naturally gray hair, never had a problem it it being dry till now. Don't get the shine of manageable condition it did with my regular shampoo and conditioner. Neither were specified for gray or blond hair but it removed all the brassiness from my hair.
