It's a JP remote and has Nintendo branding on the inside. Beat Super Mario Galaxy 2 using this remote. Haven't yet tested motion plus, but I imagine there won't be any issues.

In the photo I included you can see all the scuff marks and gunk in the speakers… Would not recommend this seller. Contacting eBay to report him immediately and looking for a full refund. Seller said it was new on the listing , yes he did say open box but the product is completely used and is obviously visible to anyone.
