Biologial warfare against a racoon!
Ok, look, this product says to wear gloves. Do not do what I did and think mechanics latex type gloves will do the trick. Wear dishwashing gloves that go halfway up your arms! Turning the bird seed over, I got some on my wrists, and they are on fire even an hour later! I washed up with dawn dish soap twice, and Fels Naptha (which is known to take the sting out of poison ivy), and I'm still hurting. My wrists where it came into contact are red, and I plan to apply burn ointment to it. I almost feel sorry for the racoon that broke my last bird feeder (by sitting on it)...almost. That fat SOB is gonna be in for a world of hurt when he eats the seeds coated in this stuff tonight! I hope I hear him screaming in pain, will be worth it since he started this war. Keeps squirrels off of birdfeeders
A friend recommended this product to me several years ago to keep the squirrels off of my birdfeeders. It is wonderful! The birds flock to my birdfeeders, but the squirrels won't go near them. I highly recommend this product.

tho it's costy, when I consider how much i love watching birds, I've found this is the ONLY stuff that truly keeps squirrels away! The first 4-5 yrs I was in this stilt house high on a hill and up several levels. the tree tops is where I live, and all wildlife is adored, some more than others ;) I won't kill animals but I'm sure grinning the first time a pesky squirrel jumps on the feeder to get a mouth & paws full of hot oil. They won't be back. Poor things ... heh heh. Scared off the squirrels from my bird seed in a few days using the suggested double dose. Birds are unaffected. Make sure you mix it outside and wear gloves. The little bit of "scent" stirred up when I use the hose spray out the 5 gallon mixing bucket will make me cough.
