Use onboard graphics while using this card at same time.
This particular pcie1x card will allow you to continue to use your on-board graphics card at the same time. The only catch is that you can't use it's VGA port while you are using it's display port connector. The card can only be connected to a maximum of two monitors. If you have an on-board graphics ports, you can use at least three monitors (The restrictions for the VGA and Display port only apply to the card that they are on, so if you have on-board VGA on your motherboard, you can use it at the same time as the display port on this discreet graphics card)This particular pcie1x card will allow you to continue to use your on-board graphics card at the same time.
