The amp sounds really well for the price. Using it for door speaker mid-bass to high range provides a good punchy mid-bass and great highs, I have not tested this amp for subs because I intended for the full range speakers. The down side of this 1200 watt max amp is the connectors for power /speakers. The old school spade connectors seem too cheap for this amps potential. If you intend to use this amp for subs, it will be a challenge for anything above 12 gauge wire. Having a built in crossover is good but the high pass side doesn't go low enough for the crossover point I am using( down to 120Hz only) at 80Hz for the separate sub amp. So there is a gap between the sub amp and mid- high amp. if you use this amp alone you can dial in the crossover for the front/ back sub and get a great ... The amp sounds really well for the price. Decent amp for the money
The amp sounded pretty good running 4- 5" mids and 1-10" subwoofer. However it stopped working after 5 days of playing. I did some testing and found out one channel of the bridged mode went bad and would put the amp in "protection". Hopefully it is just a bad amp. I sent back under warranty and I will wait to see how the replacement one holds up.

This amplifier works great, I am a MECP certified installer so I put this amplifier through it’s paces. I have this four channel running 10 speakers ( highs, mids & subs ) everything on this amplifier. It’s running at 2 ohms. Needs a bass stiffing capacitor , as it suck down power, it cool to touch and clean sound with gains at just over half. ONLY PROBLEM I SEE : if not installed by a authorized SoundStream dealer warranty is only 90 days :( - GREAT AMPLIFIER for $ and clean. Amazing amp!!! I purchased this amplifier because of a limited space under the back seat of my pickup. I couldn't be happier with this soundstream. Of course it is not the same as the original amps made in the 90's but sound quality is just a great. I highly recommend this amp if you're looking to push a pair of subs. I am running (2) Rockford Fosgate Punch P2 subs and it is more than enough power to push them unbridged.Amazing amp!!! Nice quality budget voice amp.
I bought this amp 85$ watched a dyno video after sadly it doesn't do rated something like 45 x 4 at 4 ohms and 70 x 4 at 2 ohms, but I don't care compared to my literal 20 year old amps this amp is super clear and loud!!! I'm using it on 3.5s in dash and tweeters on a pillar so tuned to 35 watts on 3.5s and 25 watts on tweets and they are loud and crisp 👌
