Should Have Bought Years Ago
I am extreely happy with this cane tip. It is so convenient to just stand it anywhere verses looking for a good spot to lean my cane where it won't be in the way. I was always unsure about the big square tip being easy to walk with but the flexibility of this tip makes it really easy and having more than one spot on the floor makes it even more secure than the normal cane tip. My cane stands up, but I fell down!
This rubber tip was pretty solid at first, but after a few months of use, the rubber feet began to loose it's rigidity. I purchased this quad tip for stability because my balance was a little off after surgery. I was even told by my physical therapist that the steel quad tip was what I should have purchased. I almost fell a couple of times using this because the rubber bends too much at the corners! This tip is great if all I needed was to have my cane stand up, but even then my cane kept toppling over! Carex cane tip is tough
It holds up to use better because it has 5 supports instead of 4 or 3. Important is that the base is solid right under where the cane tip is inserted. Other 4 or 3 leg canes do not have that solid support there so cane on those models pushes through the bottom.
