- 5***4 (1097)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseI use these over traditional butt crimp connectors so the car stereo can be more easily removed and tranasplanted into the second vehicle. It does require a proprietary crimping tool. These nylon connectors tend to get brittle (and crack/break) in extreme cold winters so use with care. These .93 series connectors are not intended for high power, high current use. I believe 5 amps is the limit. High power car stereos can exceed this limit.

I called CQ Radio Supply and it turns out, the original manufacturer was sold to a different company decades ago. These are now all imported. Nothing I or CQ Radio Supply can do about that. I appreciate that Chuck was completely honest about the item and even offered to take it back and issue a refund. Because of our conversation, I have decided to keep the item.
