I have had the 1.0 version of this model without the TENS function for about a year and I love it. I gave that unit to a friend and upgraded to the new TENS version. I've had a few muscle stimulators over the years and I must say that this is the best I've had. The units with wires become cumbersome and performance hindering after a while. Wireless makes all the difference for me. I also have a competing wireless product but I find the Compex to be so much better. The amount of power is incredible as well as the range of programs. If anyone thinks that a muscle stimulator doesn't work your muscles, ramp up the power and you will definitely feel the burn the next day. The trick is to make sure you use enough power to recruit as many muscle fibers as possible. The new TENS function is a great addition to help with my aches and pains as I've gotten older. It definitely helps. Yes, this unit is spendier than most, but you definitely get what you pay for. It's a great investment in yourself. It's a great way to take your workouts to a different level. The pods do not charge the way they should. It isn’t very powerful and does not do the job of many less expensive tens units.
