The game didn't work for me, but from what I have seen that seems to be something that is an issue with most physical copies of this particular game (Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle and Dragons Super Mario Edition). I tried it in two separate new 3DS, one XL and one LL. Not too upset but it might be something to keep an eye on depending on what game you want.
