    This is a great pump to move a lot of water fast. BUT, in my past experience, the float switch is not as durable.

    This product does not have the capability to pump was at the stated compacity

    If you need to pomp a lot water, this pump is not the one you should buy. After talking to the sales representive told me that this pump was equal to the 1.0 Wayne horse motor that replaced. I had the wayne pump for 8 years and no problems. The on I purchased will allow my basement to get wet.

    Received my sump pump beaten and battered!

    I'm flabbergasted! They shipped my 25+ pound sump pump in its original box, without any additional protection, and needless to say, when it arrived, it was pretty much destroyed! The power cord was severed through in two spots and the plug itself was crushed flat! I'm pretty confident that based upon the external damage, the pump itself is probably non-functioning too! Wow! I find it hard to believe how some people manage to stay in business when I see something like this happen!

    Failed in 3 months.

    Simple grey water application failed in 3 months. Zoeller said, "It sounds like the application is not what is causing the pump to malfunction." and yet Zoeller will not honor the warranty if purchased off of eBay. Seller is not "authorized" dealer. Ensure you buy from an authorized dealer. Zoeller is in NO hurry to do the right thing. Ensure you have a tight case against them before you even buy one. Or just buy a different brand who will stand behind their product.

    frieght damaged pump

    I should have blown up the picture better. the pump limiter (stainless steel curved piece). was badly bent. this damaged can be seen in the listing photo. I believe this is freight damage merchandise/ not cosmetic damage as listed in the description. as a result the float switch does not operate properly. I have sent the stainless limiter to a machine shop to bend it back. that' why it was $100 below market new price. I did not send it back due to it's weight/ cost factor.
