    Worked great for 1/8" 7018 welding.

    I'm old school heavy equipment mechanic with over 40 years experience. I've burned a couple tons or more of 7018 rod in that time. I bought this for my home garage. I only used with 120v input. The machine welds better than expected. There is no input voltage selector switch. When using with 120v input I had to adjust output amps higher to compensate. Rather than 90-100 for 1/8 rod I had to adjust to 160-170A when using 120v input. I suspect the specs are correct for 230v input but I doubt they are accurate for 120V input. An impressive little machine for the price.

    It works

    I am 77 years old and never touched a welder before I bought this one. I started using it on 110 volts and had trouble with the rod sticking to the metal. I did not know how to adjust the amps. I switched to 220 volts and it works great. I have had it for a very short time but if it lasts I will be happy.
