Does the job. Needs one improvement. But, for the price . . .
I found it to be of good quality and expect it to last a while. It took me a few minutes to figure out the way to read it, being a bit thick and slow in my old age, but it works great. The only complaint I have is the tubing, while robust, is was difficult to get over the tube, even on a very hot day.. And, you really cannot leave it attached as you have to thread the fitting on the other end into the test port, which requires twirling the tubing around and around. I may try to find a bit of softer tubing that will fit snug over the flexible clear tubing yet slip onto the rigid tube while still making a snug fit. Maybe Ritchie could raise the price a nickle and add that little bit? I found it to be of good quality and expect it to last a while. Basic useful old school manometer, correct range for natural gas & LP gas appliances.
Works as expected. Tubing is stiff and hard to install, even after heating it up. I bought this to set the gas pressures on my LP garage unit heater. Magnet was strong enough to support the manometer full of water. The brass fitting threaded directly into my gas valve without the need for any adapters. Tubing did not kink in use, but a more flexible tubing would make the instrument easier to use.Works as expected. Tubing is stiff and hard to install, even after heating it up.
