It culminates in an explosive battle sequence at the Japanese stronghold on Makin Island. Produced by the Army Pictorial Service Signal Corps, APPOINTMENT IN TOKYO documents four years General MacArthur's Pacific war efforts. Footage includes clips taken from Japanese newsreels and shocking footage of the Batan Death March.
