    ATH-ANC9 vs. Bose QC-15

    I now have both Bose QC15s and ATH-ANC9s. At half price point of Bose, these, ATs, are excellent to listen to music or watching something in a crowded/noisy place with the active noice cancellation feature. However, ATH-ANC9 produces an audible hissing sound when active noise cancellation is on, whereas Bose completely silences everything else around you. If you are planning to use headphones to get some "silence" without any music on (working/studying), you have to go with Bose. If you are going to use this for traveling purposes while watching movies, listening to music, ATs are perfect.

    not bluetooth, no rechargeable batteries

    Noise cancelling works ok. I am disappointed that these are wired-only for this price, with no bluetooth capabilities. My mistake. I will be selling these at a loss because I need bluetooth. I should have read the product description more carefully. I don't think these are a good value because they do not meet my requirements. Not pleased that there is no rechargeable battery in the product from the factory. Would not recommend unless you want ok headphones with noise cancelling in a wired platform.

    Good headphones but not sure if it's great value for the money

    I bought these headphones to get great quality listening experience as well as a relief from ambient noise at work or when travelling. The sound quality is good, but I'm not sure it's worth the 200+$. I think you can get close to the same quality from something a lot cheaper. The noise cancel white noise does help but makes me tired. I really like the microphone in the chord, but it would be so much better if it also had volume control. The only thing that really annoys me is that sound you have on (music) will be very easily heard by those around you. All in all: great headphones but expensive. The hard-case will help make it last.

    Not bad

    Compared to my Bose headphones these are bulkier, have a little more plastic sort of feel, and have less comfortable ear pads. That being said, the sound quality is very good and they're still quite comfortable (I just got off a four hour flight in which I wore them the whole time). For the price these are a really excellent set of headphones.

    One of the best performer

    This is one of the best performer of times I have ever witnessed. The product works perfectly fine, seemless and delivers the optimum performance. Noise cancellation works for up to 90% of reduction and that is a good figure. For variable noise, specially the talks and discussions, the cancellation algorithm doesn't do that good. Overall, a good investment I would say, for your ears and mind
