Best AI for Scrabble
The AI used in this edition of Scrabble is the best I've seen--though there have been other editions that use the same AI. The top two levels (of nine, I think) are virtually unbeatable. My only knock on this edition is you have to have the disc in the drive each time you play. I had bought a version in 2011 which only needed to be loaded once. Another small drawback--and this is true of all the Scrabble games I've seen--is you can't add words to the list as they are added to the official Scrabble dictionary from time to time. such as bing or bling. It also creates words that don't exist anywhere else. My mother-in-law loved this version of Scrabble but lost her install disk. When Windows needed to be reinstalled, she was devastated so I searched for a replacement. This is a 2006 product, and even though the graphics aren't as good as modern systems allow, all my other attempts to replace it were with goofy, social-media flavored versions that got really far from the zeitgeist of classic scrabble. So happy to find this version for her - shipped promptly and installed without a hitch.My mother-in-law loved this version of Scrabble but lost her install disk.
