Shoo Be Doobie Doo Wah Wah!!!
I grew up in Pittsburgh where doo wop was played a lot. The doo wop era goes back to the early 1950s and this DVD features (in most cases) the original artists, most of them now in their 60s,70s.or 80s. And they can all still sing every note perfectly. Great orchestra staying true to the original arrangements and wonderful introductions by Jerry Butler. This was an exciting concert, taped in Pittsburgh, the city that kept doo wop alive. This is Doo Wop at it's best!! This is well crafted and awesome to watch. I love "The Ice Man" emceeing. He really makes this concert a lot of fun to watch. The line up of groups is so good. I can sit there and enjoy this music for hours!!! This DVD is more that well worth having!!
