    Superb UI but be careful with case sensitivity.

    Awesome set of features for sharing a USB drive to my home network. Configuration is a snap and the only annoying thing is that admin ID is case sensitive. Password case sensitivity I understand but I almost had to do a reset to get logged in with the correct password but I always capitalize user ID for reading purposes like on Windows, Unix, Linux, Linksys, etc.

    Asus,, good stuff !

    I bought this to use as a mesh node. Asus shows that it can be used in a mesh configuration. went to set it up and that isn't available. I set it up as a repeater and it work that way. I have a dozen Asus routers and none of them have let me down.

    Speed Issue Asus Router / Google Home

    If you are using Google Home with an Asus router, you must: 1) Go into Wireless settings on the left pane 2) Click into "Professional" in the top pane (menu) 3) Go to "Airtime Fairness" in the middle pane (window) and select "disable" This will fix your speed issue once and for all....... :)

    Just what I needed!

    If your wifi is just not making it as far as you need it to, this is the router. I checked, and this is touted to be the router with the largest range that is available to the consume. Still not far enough? Buy a second one. The router has the new "mesh" technology that will allow the use of a second router on the same wifi to extend ranges. This router does not come with a SSID and password. Well, it does - admin and admin. You define SSID and password in your first connection. Fully configurable, and easy to do. Want your wifi invisible to the outside world? You can do that. Want two wifi's, one for 2.5 GHz and one for 5GHz? You can do that, or you can leave it all in one name and let your devices choose. The documentation claims that the wifi reach is between 170 and 200 feet. Consider ...

    Asus RT-AC3100 WiFi router is GREAT!

    The Asus RT-AC3100 WiFi router has fixed all my home wifi issues. It has very good range and easily handles the 24 + wifi connections we have distributed throughout the house. Also very easy to set up and the on-line tool to see what's connected at home is excellent.
