The AT&T 146 Design Line telephone is a sleek update on an old, favorite style but with a slim and curvy design. The 146 dispenses with excess and provides the most important features of a basic phone including speed dial, last-number redial, ringer volume, and more. The 10-number speed dial is programmable to hold your most important and frequently dialed numbers. You can set the ringer volume to your preference, low for late at night, higher when you're running the vacuum. Use the flash button to get an instant dial tone. The redial keeps trying the last number dialed for busy signals. A mute button permits a private conversation that your caller can't hear. The 146 is hearing-aid compatible and suitable for desktop or convertible to a wall unit. This design-line telephone has 10 number memory, Mute and One-touch redial with ringer volume control, and FlashDesk or wall mountable convenience.

    Get one...you won't be sorry!

    This is a Great Phone. It's Compact and light weight. It has Good clarity on all the connections. I've added all my favorite numbers to the memory for speed dialing and find that easy to use as well. You can adjust the bell ring from "Hi to Low" or completely OFF. You can switch from "Tone to Pulse" type dialing with the flick of a switch on the side. It has a volume control to adjust your incoming call to hear better I'm glad I bought it and I'm saying that you can't go wrong with this purchase.

    Clear and loud audion

    Well, it's just a phone, but for some reason its sound is clearer than modern phones, and louder. As my hearing is severely impaired, this phone works for me.

    Cost Efficient for personal use

    This everyday item was my choice because it was an AT&T phone because that is a brand recognized for phones and I wanted something that was well known and heard of by all, myself included. I thought it was therefor a name I could trust, and it is. My second consideration was even though I could have gotten an AT&T phone for less, I chose the Design Line because it is not the same as the regular phone .It is more contoured and lightweight. My thing is walking around with the phone and with a corded phone this is tough. So I bought a 25 foot cord which is fine. My only complaint is it's a trifle too light in actual weight but it is modern and functional and lives up to it's name, Design Line. Thank you.

    Well worth the money.

    While there are "cheaper" products on the market, this one is solid and well built and easy to hold for comfort for seniors. Keypad is ideal as well. In a time of cell phones where smaller is better, the quality of sound sent and received is clearer and doesn't suffer from "tower" interference. A good phone for the home.

    AT&T corded phone

    Good corded phone. Base a little light for desktop mode but better than most I've seen. Nice slim base and no batteries needed.
