They worked better than my previous open coil antenna's. The change was very noticeable with just 1 antenna on 2 different radios from Galaxy. My Galaxy 959B outperformed my DX-94HP on 1 and the co-phased configuration. I was even more shocked that the receive section of the 959b is so much better! The 959 reminds me of my old Cobra 148 GTL that was able to do a 2 way from Ontario Canada to Kingston Jamaica on 25 watts!

Three weeks after initial order, package showed up, box was damaged, antenna was sticking out of one end and out of the original wrap. It looked like USPS took it out, then decided they didn't want it, stuck it back in and retaped the package.
