    Portability makes this game a compelling and bordline Must-Buy for RPG fans

    Disgaea as a series, has always been time dumpster, with dozens of hours of gameplay and extreme length/value for those that like progression and variability in the endgame - with level 9999 cap, and item leveling (with the Item world). However, the true value of this title, despite being an older game (released earlier on the PS4) is that it contains the DLC and all bonus content... and more importantly, being portable! Titles like these seem best suited for gaming on the go, considering how much grind is involved and being a turn based tactics game. It looks and runs outstanding, is flashy, and has length. If you've enjoyed playing a Disgaea title, it's a must buy (has nostalgic characters available) and even great for newcomers.

    It's just really ok...

    The story is not compelling or interesting, the graphics are more in line with a mobile game, but the gameplay is well done. It's supposed to be a very long game, so you would think good value, but I'm struggling with the idea of having to waste all that time on something I like just ok.

    Great Game That Will Surely Provide Hours upon Hours of playtime

    Haven't played Disgaea since the old PSP days. Only a few hours in, but so far it's as good as I remember. Obviously, the graphics are a step up. Graphically, this probably won't pull in a ton of awards, but they are solid and Disgaea has never been about graphics. Gameplay wise and story wise, so far so good.

    Disgaea 5 Review .

    This game is a strategy turn based RPG which is packed with hours upon hours of gameplay. The game offers a wide array of characters with different attributes and attacks. Anime colourful graphics which look very appealing in dock mode and also respectable in handheld . If you are not a fan of rpgs especially slow playing strategic ones you may want to pass . There is just something addicting and nostalgic about this title on the switch . I give it a 4.0 out of 5 overall and recommend this to and old school jrpgs

    This game is so much fun, and the fact that there are so many characters to choose from is amazing. It’s hard to choose who I want to use all the time! It’s a great game, and you can play it for hours on end, I know I have.
