I received the refurbished huskavarna 440 in a fast and timely manner but the only issue was when I opened the box all I see is oil leaked out all over the bottom of the box as seen in the pictures. You can see in them that the oil has saturated the bottom of the box it was shipped in. I haven’t put it together yet and started it but it looks to be in good shape, I just hope it doesn’t have a permanent leak from a crack or something in it

I wouldn’t recommend this chainsaw. I bought it from Husqvarna Direct. My 1st use it didn’t do the job. I tried to cut fallen tree but it is not cutting. Very disappointed with my purchase. Sent a message to the seller no one responded. I wasted $200 all for waste.

Good Value and quality saw
I didn't say it was better than I expected. I rate Husky close second to Stihl but the price for Stihl stuff is higher than I wanted to pay for this saw which bill be an emergency saw to cut fire wood if we should lose power and I have to run the FP for heat. I have a Poulin Pro electric chain saw for most work around my house. Of course Poulin is made by Husky. The saw I bought from you guys is very good and at a very good price. ThxI didn't say it was better than I expected. i wish i had no prob. with it...
runs great with out the bar and chain.. but when you put it all to get there. lack of power ! or no power @ all. not a happy camper.. I have retuning it back to huskey group on 6/08/2020. should be there this friday.! for my refund.

quality and price not a great mix
a good saw for me purchased new. definitely not so good for first time users. Saw is made for felling only and not arborist type use....dangerous. New saws tend to come with chipper chains that fall short at cutting. find a good, manual sharpener--not automatic to put a more agressive edge on the chain blade to make it cut like a real logger would want. follow logger methods and never cut near the ground at this pickups of dirt and dulls chains very rapidly. be sure to empty oil tank and fill with unoiled fuel after each use before storing. assuming these rehabs were probably not used much, the price asked is still a bit steep considering the price new under warranty--and these saws are quite apt to require initial work to iron out problems.a good saw for me purchased new. definitely not so good for first time users. Best tool for medium duty cutting
Having the proper tools helps complete the job with less time and effort. I used this chainsaw to clear the back of my property, which had hardwoods and pines. The saw started without too much hassle. It worked very well for the task at hand. Set-up and operating instructions need to be read carefully and followed. Starting instructions are specific and, if followed as stated, no problem.... If not, you may not get it started. Having the proper tools helps complete the job with less time and effort. I used this chainsaw to clear the back of my property, which had hardwoods and pines. The saw started without too much hassle. It worked very well for the task at hand. Saw arrived early well and packaged Added fuel, bar oil, bar and chain. Saw started right up, idles and good power with throttle. I used the saw for a tank of gas, cutting downed trees and limbs. Saw cut well, is balanced and light weight. There are scratches on the plastic shell, showing it was used - it’s reconditioned, not unexpected. After use, was put in a saw case, checked the box the next day for bar oil leakage, minimal oil in the case. The saw met my expectations, hope it lasts along time. Saw arrived early well and packaged Added fuel, bar oil, bar and chain. Saw started right up, idles and good power with throttle. I used the saw for a tank of gas, cutting downed trees and limbs.
