    Great Little Camera

    Years ago such cameras were 4-5 times as expensive and not nearly as good or user friendly. I wanted something small and unobtrusive with high enough resolution and broad range of vision for me to remotely surveil my apartment. The camera met all of those requirements and more. The only glitches had to do with the camera software (mydlink lite), which was resolved by D-Link's excellent tech support, and D-Link's web page and functions either missing or not working, like FTP support.

    Fisheye lens make the video display look distorted.

    Setting up took a little more time than expected since the instruction wasn't exactly clear as to what information and password should be entered so that my router would recognize it. Clarification were made after several email exchanges with Dlink.. The video view angle was a little more than I expected. The display of vertical lines look distorted. I would have preferred a standard lens, not a fish eye type. The clarify is good since it was HD 720p..

    Nice little camera; Good picture; Access via browser needs a lot of help.

    Good design for attachment and position adjustment. base and cam swivel. Nice wide picture and positive auto switching from night to day. Must have a strong WIFI signal to work reliably otherwise it's a little flaky, especially the motion detection. Accessing the camera setup is made difficult due to security and Certificate issues with Chrome and Firefox. IE lets you chose to access the "Unsafe" network address. There are also issues with active x and Java which are needed to view a video during setup. Once you get past all that it works. Some of the setup functions can be accessed on a smart phone.

    Great into IP camera

    Over all it’s a great camera. Decent image, good night vision coverage. BUT you get what you pay for amd at this price point and you are NOT getting a good app or ease of set up. There is a moderately step learning curve to set up. You have to you the trash app for first set up but once online abandon that. Don’t forget to close the open streaming options so you don’t let the world see you. Works great with OWLR and I check the recordings with an IE or Safari browser.

    Low priced camera which does the job.

    I was not sure about how the product would work , but after some anxious moments trying to get it to connect to the internet , it seemed to work fine. The only complaint I have is that it takes too long to connect and also sends me a lot of false motion detection notifications. Other than that so far so good.
