A nice fit
I was looking for a replacement for a dead hard drive in a netbook. The original drive was a 250gb but I chose to trade a smaller disk for a faster disk. This drive is 7200rpm so reads faster which makes this netbook feel faster. I don't store a great deal on the netbook so the smaller drive is fine. I had read cautions regarding installing a 7200 rpm drive in an older macbook that it may vibrate or cause excessive heat. In my case it is all untrue. It runs like a brand new computer and it's faster than it was new. I'm running Ubuntu 14.04 and couldn't be more pleased.
