Easy Fix
If your bike has suddenly started to run badly, idles poorly, smokes, smells of unburnt gasoline, and lost low-end torque. Then it might be this fuel pressure regulator. To diagnose it, you will need to lift the tank and remove the air cleaner assembly. Once that's done, the FPR will be on the left side of the fuel rail, below the throttle bodies. Remove the vacuum hose from the FPR and start the engine. If fuel comes out of the FPR tube where the vacuum line was attached, then it is faulty and needs to be replaced.If your bike has suddenly started to run badly, idles poorly, smokes, smells of unburnt gasoline, and lost low-end torque.
