How OT Prophecies Point to Only Christ as the Promised Messiah
I watched a nearly three hour video on this topic, hosted by John Ankerberg, with Drs. Walter Kaiser & Darrel Bock guesting. It wasn't long before I was scrambling for pen & paper to write down the accumulating evidence, and how it all reaches its climax in Christ. This slow unfolding of identifying characteristics throughout the Hebrew Bible are puzzle pieces that present a portrait of one candidate only, and that is the Nazarene who claims unequivocally to be the unique Son of God. While the book's authors are Ankerberg and Drs. John Weldon and Walter Kaiser, the prophecies are identical to those in my notes, so the best recommendation I can offer is to watch the video production, "The Messiah of the Old Testament", and save yourself the effort of scribbling your own notes (mine were becoming chaotic), and buy this book if you want them all neatly outlined and their importance explained. If you're unaware of these OT prophecies, your faith will be greatly strengthened. If you are aware of them, you'll have them all wrapped up in a book where you can highlight what's important to you. Either way, you'll feel blessed by this scholarly effort to present a clear picture of who this Christ is.
