The best shocks for the money
These may not look like kings and they may not cost $50 for a pair but they are the smoothest shocks period. Hard anodizing and Teflon coated aluminum bodies and caps make these better quality than 90% of the choices out there. These are also preassembled and even come with a bottle of oil that will fill 8 or more shocks. The only negative I can come up with for these is that they do not have threaded bodies and a collar for easier spring preload adjustment but that would also increase the price and I'd rather just tune with the correct weight spring anyway. You can still adjust preload with the included various sized spacers which are very easy to install and remove. I'd like to mention that Axial springs size 14mmx70mm fit these shocks perfectly and give you a choice of several ... I have gone through all 4 of my rigs and replaced all of my shocks with these Traxxasa big bores and have zero regrets. These things are cheap, durable, excellent performers, that never leak a single drop. Buy kings if you want overpriced pogo sticks that look nice but leak oil everywhere and perform like garbage. Buy Traxxas big bores if you want to save some money and have suspension that actually performs.
