Sprint phones offered, are in the Smart Phone category which requires a data plan and being retired ,I had no need for it.The seller that I purchasd from was wonderful. As for the phone,it is everything, I thought it would be. It came in wonderful condition, easy to use and quick to set up. I love the slider feature because, once it is in the closed position,it goes into Key guard which only lets you answer thus, not allowing (pocket calls). To make a call or reach the menu, just slide the phone up The sound clarity is outstanding and the quality of the phone is great. I ordered this phone for my spouse as an exact replacement for his phone because the battery would not hold a charge. He is not inclined to learn all the new advanced technology and this model works well for his needs and to navigate through the menu. We took his new phone to a Sprint store and they took care of transferring the service from his old phone to the new within a minutes. They also electronically transferred his contact list within seconds.I ordered this phone for my spouse as an exact replacement for his phone because the battery would not hold a charge.
