This will also come in handy when buying a new/used car. Want to see if someone is hiding something? This will tell you if all trouble codes have been recently reset and if the system is fully ready (through the drive cycles) to confirm if there’s an issue or not. Good OBD2 bluetooth scanner.
Good OBD2 bluetooth reader. It sincronizes within a few seconds, about 20, and it works well enough. It is NOT a professional scanner. Its good for quick checking some of your car parameters or error codes, though. You can leave in your car for fast use. My unit has something moving inside if shaking it, but its working.

Purchasing some of the cheaper BLUE translucent models of Bluetooth scanner adapters proved to be a waste of money and time. While they 'May' technically have the various protocols as outlined in their respective listings, does not mean they work in all cases. Many of these budget adapters are inexpensive clones, that don't have all that is required, to communicate with 'some' of the onboard PCMs. This adapter, even though it is pre-owned, is of very good quality and so far, has worked on the various vehicles I've connected it to. Specifically, the BLUE translucent model mentioned earlier, would not communicate with my 1997 Explorer, nor my 2000 Windstar. Connecting this Tested device, even though used and refurbished, works Great EVERY time. It is worth the money to spend a ... easy to use and very cheap for what it can do. easily reads and clears check engine light but suprisingly provides quite a bit more information and utility than i expected. the app has real time monitoring and the size of the reader is very convenient.
