Product Information

Virginia (Williams) and her father Tony (Larroquette) encounter a stray dog wandering the streets of New York City. The dog turns out to be Snow White's Prince Wendell under a spell by an evil queen (Wiest) who plans to rule his kingdom! In an effort to help the prince, they follow him through a magic mirror into a mystical world where trolls, giants, and goblins wander and fairy tales such as Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood actually happened. They confront the wicked queen and a battle of good versus evil commences in a display of astonishing visual effects.     Fantastic except for one thing

    I love the 10th Kingdom, it's been my favorite show since I was a kid so when I saw the deal for it here on ebay I just had to have it. The picture quality is great, it's in full screen, and the acting is just as amazing as it once was. There are three discs that sit on top of one another in the case (something that bothers me slightly because of the risk of scratching) and each disc contains two episodes on them (except for the last one which has the bonus featurette). The only problem that I've run into with the set is the fact it has no subtitles, which is something I prefer all my dvds, tv show or otherwise, to have. Other than that, this set of the 10th Kingdom is still an amazing one to have.

    Good for a teenager

    Story is kind of lame, but a young teen may like all the fairy tale references. Some violence, as a child gets shot in the second part. Not sure what the makers were going for. Too lame for adults, and unnecessary killing of minots. Oh well, got it for a buck so I guess is was a good value.
