    So far so good

    Pretty much plug n play in our 2005 Silverado 1500; super easy install. Didn't need any programming for this vehicle. Everything works perfectly; blows ice cold air. The white/bluish lights go much better with our updated dash LEDs than the OEM yellowish lights. Only had it in for a week, so if it dies I'll update my review.

    Stick with OE on this one

    I received this unit, installed, and programmed to my truck and the same day I realized what most other reviews were talking about. When I turn my truck off and then start again the a/c doesnt pick up where it left off like oe. You have to turn unit off for a few seconds and then start fresh every time to turn a/c back on. Can't just push the button and expect a/c to work. Also just to make sure I tried turning it to hot and neither side would go cold to hot. Put original unit back in and worked much better. Go back with AC DELCO and save your time.

    Would not work properly in a 2004 Tahoe

    Took the chance and purchased this unit against negative reviews from other buyers, They were correct. This unit would randomly change the temp from full hot to full cold and randomly change the output, even when not in Auto. The LED back lighting is way to bright and after a short amount of time (2 weeks) the LED lights started to go out and or flicker (Very distracting during night driving). During our road trip, the issues were so bad, we stopped at a junk yard and purchased a replacement (from the same year Tahoe) and all issues went away...This may program (YES, you do need to program) to other vehicles, but it DOES NOT work properly for a 2004 Tahoe

    Quit working after a few weeks

    Had to unplug the module every few days to reset it and make it work. Now it quit all together. Sometimes it would got hot when commanding cold and go to defrost when set to vents like everything was backwards till i unplug it to reset. Other times the ac light would stay on even after the key had been off for hours.

    Worked for 3 months then stopped

    I installed this on my 2005 suburban and it works just fine at first. After about 3 months I lost all temp control and ac on/off stopped working. Total internal electronic failure. Please do no buy, take a chance on a used OEM unit.
