I am a huge WEN supporter. I have two of their generators that have been through everything. And they never fail to deliver . This DRILL PRESS is amazing! It’s quiet, smooth, and tough. Shipping was crazy fast too. If you are thinking of this WEN drill VS some other name. Just buy the WEN and hold onto it for the next several decades. Built perfectly well, thick metal and the belt  pulleys are solid steel!

    Lovely drill press for the money.

    good drill press. I've owned a couple of other name brands models that I gave to family years ago, and I needed another one for a small project, so I invested in this brand. Took a chance since I never heard of them before, but this unit is worth the price. Seems well built and stable. Every so often you just need a drill press and this one will do nicely.

    Good table top drill press for the money.

    For the price, I really did not expect that the quality would be that great. The drill was easy to assemble, and the quality was better than expected. Overall, the drill works very well, and seems to be built to last. I did find two issues right out of the box. First, the thumbscrew/nut combination that secures the cover over the pulleys failed the first time that I unscrewed the cover. The acorn nut fell off, and for the life of me, I cannot figure out how it was originally attached? The second issue is that the table leveling placard is about 3 degrees off from zero. Finding level for the table can be critical when attempting to drill vertically straight holes. Other than these two issues, I am happy with my purchase.
