    Avoid the frustration, design is not a direct replacement

    Don't bother spending your money on these filters, you'll be lucky to get it to fit on the vac without crushing the pleats. The ID was too small and with the grippy (silicone type) compound, it won't slide onto the vac completely. If you push from the wingnut end, you'll likely collapse/crush the pleats (I did and that was with trying to take it easy). If you try pushing down on the other end, fitting around the vac, you'll likely tear the pleats from the 'rubber' material. Spend the little extra $ and order the genuine Craftsman shop vac filters, these are too much of a hassle to deal with for something that should take seconds to install instead of a quarter of an hour! Considering these should seal on the ends and not the ID, there is no reason for it to be a press fit onto the ...

    Very Generic

    Had to modify my wet/dry vacuum to get the filter to fit. The filter almost fit but I had to shave off some plastic in four different places to get the top of the filter to seat properly where dust wouldn't get into my motor. It might fit other models better. Other than that, it is of good quality; but could have been cheaper in price
