    This item arrived in very good shape and very timely. It's now in place in my "new" Optiplex 7010, and seems to work well. I've never had a vertical one before, and was surprised that it didn't have a full cd tray, but it works quite well even so. I would imagine the minimum tray design has to do with how thin the unit is. I have a usb cd drive, too, and it also has a very minimal tray. It works fine, too. Very nice unit, and well made. Thanks!

    Everything was good, except the CD DVD player was only for Dell's SFF Tower so it wouldn't fit my mini tower even though Dell's paperwork listed that DVD player as one and the same, so I had to return it with no problems with the seller at all very helpful.
