    A must have for users of manual focus lenses

    Three positive aspects of adding this magnifying eyecup to your Pentax DSLR. 1. The rubber eyecup is better quality and more comfortable than the original. 2. Additional magnification, though slight, helps with manual focus precision a great deal without causing other issues. 3. Your nose won’t be smashed against the rear LCD screen of the camera anymore.

    Works great

    Suits the purpose, works great. 1 star down for not being weather resistant like other Pentax products nowadays. Yes the rain got between the two lenses. Although, it is relatively easy to dissasemble and clean. Just remember the positions of lenses to get it back right.

    Great for MF Glass

    Great little adapter for Pentax DSLRs. Much easier to acquire focus with manual focus lenses. It does vignette the OVF some on APSC cameras and quite a bit on Full Frame. But its super simple to take off if need be. Highly recommended for manual focus glass.

    The easier and cheapest way to improve visibility and manual focusing

    Just remove the original eyecup, replace it easily attaching this one and instantly have a magnified image of the camera's optical viewfinder. Photo-framing and manual focusing are considerably facilitated. The only disadvantage is that it is more difficult to see all the information available on the screen at once, in a single glimpse. The eye has to travel a little bit over this, but the benefits of more accurate manual focusing and improved vision of the scene details definitely outweigh this little inconvenience.

    Not bad, almost neccessary for manual lenses

    I bought this for the K3. Even after downloading the newest firmware I still had difficulty with accurately focusing mf lenses. After recieving this I was again focusing manual focus lenses properly. The worst part is that the eyepieve is plastic, but I expected that. Best part about this is that I can see all of the frame in the finder.
