    top quality item

    This was a sealed, as advertised, 250 GB Western Dig laptop hard drive that I used with an enclosure to help my daughter back up her school work. Not only was it sealed, it was only manufactured less than 6 months ago by the date on back, so it is not a piece of surplus junk. I am very happy with the drive. The average computer user will have to know some basics on formatting before use in either a laptop or an enclosure, but plenty of info on the web on how to format before being able to use.     Great reliable hard drive.

    Fit perfectly in my laptop using the adaptor off my old crashed hard drive. Works great. Wanted something different than the brand of hard drive that came in the laptop because it had crashed. So was looking for something that claimed to be less prone to crashes. This had that description and is working perfectly so far.
