it's exactly what I expected and more
It was my first time trying this product. It is a bit more expensive compared to other hair products, but hey you get what you pay for. I like this product, because it can give you the "wet look" on your hair if you first put water on your hair and after the pomade. It can also hold your hair in place, but your hair will still be soft to the touch and can be re styled by just adding water. Another thing I like about this product is that when placing small amounts of it (dime size) it will look like your natural hair is just held in place with out any product and when you touch your hair it wont feel greasy or rough it feels natural. Honestly I was skeptical on buying considering the cost, but just give it a try it's worth it. Also it has a (some what) smell of an AXE product and although ... Overrated Pomade
I bought it because of the reviews I've read. This was overrated to say the leastand it claims it is the best. It's very thick and now that easy to use. It added curl to my Hair as apples to letting me style the way I wanted to. I've had much better results from Reuzels Blue, Shiner Gold, Sauvicito and Layrite.

The Only Pomade I Use
I've been using Imperial Classic Pomade for about three years now. I've tried other water based pomades but none are as good as Inperial. I have very curly grey to the point of being solid white hair. All other pomades are tinted with a yellow or brown color and it shows in my hair but Imperial is clear so no color is added to my hair. The straightening and hold power of Imperial is also incredible. In short, if you want a strong hold pomade with straightening power like no other and the ability to wash it out with ease then don't hesitate to purchase Imperial Classic Pomade.I've been using Imperial Classic Pomade for about three years now. Good strong hold Can wet and restyle, so say you pass out drunk from your micro brew beers, you can wake up and get your hair wet and style it. Easy clean up, water based, washes easily off hands. Has a good clean smell to it. I've used a few different products to slick my hair back like a greaser.... I've used Grease- which is hard to clean off hands and wash out hair. And other brands of pomade like crew. Just doesn't hold at all. By far my favorite so far! It has great hold although there are others that have a stronger hold but Imperial's hold is more than sufficient and often times (if not all the time) with other products you get left with wet/greasy looking hair and it'll stay that way until you wash it. Not the case with Imperial, it gives your hair a more natural look and it lasts all day long.
