This is probably my favorite game of the Gameboy sides Mario kart. The game is as good as I remember and is so much fun. I originally owned it on the Gameboy and decided I wanted to play it again so I bought it again since I lost my original one. I also had it on the SNES which sucked as it had no dedicated saving so you couldn't just pause the games and save your progress but with the Gameboy one you can save whenever you like rather than only at major areas such as switches and castles along with Boo houses and some secret areas. Anyways the game is amazing and just as fun as I remember. Can't wait to beat all the levels and find all the secret areas again.

Super Mario Advance 2 is a great game to play on your GBA. The graphics are great but my only nitpick is how the color palette looks washed out which is due to the fact that the OG model has NO backlit screen so they compensated by oversaturating the colors. Despite that, I had a great time and it even includes an enhanced port of Mario Bros., a 1983 arcade game which can be played solo or even with 2-4 players via a link cable. I would definitely recommend this to any Mario veteran and I am glad I have the complete packaging for my Super Mario Advance collection. Would give it 5 stars out of 5!

I loved the game the first time around on the SNES. This portable version is the same with a few changes. You can play as Luigi in a one player game. Mario and Luigi have voice effects for certain actions. You can play the original Mario Bros arcade game too if you want. The best change was that now you can save your game at any time and it keeps track of how many lives and coins you have as well. Plus, it's awesome to have a classic game on the GBA. I will be playing this for a long time.

This brings back memories from when I was like 7 playing games from a decade before. And the great thing about the GBA version is that I don't have to wait to get home to play Super Mario World! 10/10 would recommend.

I like the game because well its the best mario ever made and now its portable! What I dont like about the game is the fact that they changes so much of the music up. I like the original synth for the game...It had a completed feel to it! The new music lacks alot, it seems to be unfinished, and it sounds like it was done on a $10 Casio board that everyone had as a kid. i also dont like the fact that luigi follows you around, its not labeled mario and luigi world.....I dont like luigi being incorporated into the original games like these whatsoever. They could of atleast done like the SMA 3 and allowed you to select if you want to play with both or not. So besides the music lacking and having luigi take along, the game itself its wonderful, I also like the extra they threw in with the select button so you can see if you have fully collected all 5 dragon coins in each level and have gone through both endings of each level.Read full review
Ah, back in the day. Super Mario World was originally packaged with the SNES. Who would have thought so much effort would have gone into a free game? This remake contains all of the original 72 stages. And now, someone using single player mode can actually choose - Mario or Luigi! The two characters now come with their own unique talents. Mario, for example, can stop on a dime, no matter how fast he's run...but he can't jump as high as his brother. Luigi, on the other hand, has a little trouble stopping, but he can jump quite high indeed. Unfortunately, it is within the two brothers differences that the problem lies. I like to play as Luigi whenever possible. But thanks to these "updates," I find him more difficult to control than he was in the original game. But I'll keep trying. Maybe I can get the hang of it.Read full review
Honestly compared to other games, this one is the best. I know the first one was a good one because it started the mario corporation, but this one was the next major step toward the mario indusrty. Face it Super Mario Bros. 2 and 3 are no match match for the Super Mario World. Those first 3 games were good for the NES, but Super Mario World is the best. Okay enough with the best thing lets get down to business. Graphics. Graphics in this remade version for the GBA are way better than of those in the SNES. Obviosly you would see that they have added more colors to the gameplay and more surroundings in the background. Also they have renderd the game just a bit so that Mario looks a bit 3D-ish looking. Overall graphics get a 5/5 for the reason that this was one of the first mario games that came out for the SNES and the GBA. Sound Sound isnt all that new, few of the World songs have been a remade. There isn't a lot to the sound since it is a GBA game so I rate it a 4/5. Gameplay Like said in the intro. Best Mario Game Ever!!!. This game is one of the games that lets you go back and redo the Mission again. I don't know if anyone wants to do that, but there are a few that are awsome and definatley would retry. This game has a fun stoy line to it. And Having to go through the worlds with you is Mario and Luigi your two heros and a new character named Yoshi..Well not so new but when this game first came out he was. Well anyways this game has a fun and entertaining gameplay which is fun to play if your bored at work, waiting for your next class, catching the bus, or just lonely. Get this game and you will kill time. I rate this section over all 5/5. Grand total of 5/5 for the whole game. I would recommend this game for everyone. Even though its a step down from the Nintendo DS system, but its a darn good game. This game would also make a great christmas gift for little kids out there. EnjoyRead full review
I expected it to be a totally different game since it was coming from China but no it's super Mario bros and I would recommend anyone to get these 4 dollar ones instead of the 140 dollars ones you see around.
