    It’s what it would have come with.

    I’m weird about keys. I like having official keys to things and I’m glad that other people on the internet are weird about it too because they look great and the key cutter people I took it to made it perfectly that it works like a hot knife through butter. Now my friends won’t feel so dumbfounded by my weird keys and how only I knew how they had to be locked and then unlocked because it didn’t fit right and the little trick to get the key out of the ignition. It’s an original key that works just like it’s supposed to.

    Genuine key

    It’s a genuine Honda blank. I used to work as a mechanic for Honda. These are the last generation of simple keys before the first generation. Of the transponder keys that require programming. Easy to trace on a key tracing machine. I had it cut and ready to use in minutes.

    Bad cut?

    I got the key & liked knowing it was OEM. I've taken it to several key places to finally cut it but they say its has a weird cut that doesn't match up to the one I'm currently using. Is it the key or do these places just don't want to cut it. Honda dealerships don't have the cutter anymore so I don't know how to get this key cut. But other than that it's the perfect OEM blank key hanging off my key ring.
