    Not true 28 awg, terrible charging.

    Usually with 28 awg cable you would have no trouble charging your phone, but that is not the case with theses terrible cables. The cables themselves seem to be well built but that's it. These cables seem to charge my phone about 1% every 10 min. I don't have a very new phone, purchased in 2014. I have aukey cables which i can compare to and those do charge my phone very quickly. I would not recommend these horrible cables. I cannot wait 24 hours for my phone to fully charge. I won't bother returning these. Try another brand cause theses aren't worth it.

    Shielded 28AWG data conductors do the job.

    The shielded 28AWG data conductors perform properly, when higher-gauge or unshielded conductors might have had undesirable effect. The power conductors were smallish, though, and 20 or 22 AWG power conductors would have been better.
