    Great stand

    One of the best built you can get. I use this every weekend to hold a five and four string bass guitar and it works great. The feet open for a wide,steady stance, and the adjustment mechanism to adjust neck cradle height has positive locks so it won’t slip. The neck cradle has no problems for five string bass guitar necks as well. Everything is well made and no flaws I can see. A little expensive but I plan on getting another for a second bass on stage.

    Bad engineering.

    There is a hex screw in the nut on top of the neck that is completely useless. It serves no purpose. Can't adjust the rotation at all by backing it off. Crazy build and definitely not worth all the money these things cost. Overkill with to many moving patrs that either can't or don't need to.

    Best single guitar stand I've seen

    Securely holds my instruments, from the heavy little Les Paul to my big old Gretsch Tennessean to my acoustic Guild D55. This stand is a great design that protects and displays each guitar safely with padded features that firmly lock in place. At home or on stage, these are exactly what an expensive instrument needs when it's not hanging off a player's neck.

    The only stand for me

    Years ago, I caught a cord with my big feet, pulling my friend's 1961 Gibson SG Special off the old style stand, snapping the neck. Needless to say, when I discovered the Hercules Stand, I became a customer for life. Thanks for your design and thoughtfulness Hercules - Dave
